30 Days to Zero Waste (Day 11: Use a Compostable Toothbrush)

Did you know about 50 million pounds of toothbrushes get sent to the landfill each year? Crazy, right? A plastic toothbrush is just another disposable that we have been told that we need to use per marketing. This is another easy swap. When your current plastic toothbrush is just too wore out for teeth brushing, add it to your cleaning supplies, and get yourself a sustainable toothbrush like one made from bamboo! They work just as effectively as their wasteful, plastic counterparts and can be composted when they ware out.

You can find your very own sustainable toothbrushes HERE!

  1. I will definitely be buying a bamboo toothbrush, but now I'm thinking about all the toothpaste tubes I throw out.
Have you ever seen bulk toothpaste and a toothpaste dispenser?
    Thanks.
